So when I first visited campus, what I loved was that it was just beautiful. And you can tell that so much love and care has gone into this campus to make it look really nice.
I love ONU because of the sense of community that they work really hard to have here. You know all your professors and your professors all know you. You recognize people as you go down the hallways. You know what's going on in everybody's lives, and it's definitely a community of everybody wanting everybody else to do good.
The benefit of staying in Ada is, first and foremost, it is a safe place. Two, the opportunity to engage with the community, you know, not only on the law, but the people in the community because they truly care about the students here. They give you that small town hospitality.
Me and my friends love to go down - there's a really cute ice cream shop that you can go to and kind of sit outside. I'll take my dog down there in the summertime. We have a really good Mexican spot that I know students like to gather at on the weekends. And then of course, beautiful parks and ponds and places that you can go enjoy the weather at.
For the outdoor lover, you're - plenty of access to nature. You can go hiking, you can go camping, and then if you are someone that is a little bit more urban-focused, we're a hop skip and a jump away from multiple cities. We've got Columbus nearby, we've got Findlay nearby, Lima is nearby. I don't mind the drive to Cincinnati because that's my hometown, and you can definitely make it on a Friday night. So there's plenty of things to do in Ada and then in the surrounding area. You are getting into a rigorous academic program, and that's number one for law students. You can have fun, like there's plenty of things to do here. But when it comes down to it, you need to be focused on your work and you know, hit the books, you know, put your nose to the grindstone and get the work done that you need to get done. The size of Ada is conducive to that kind of work.
