When a student chooses Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, they're forming a relationship with us. Part of our promise to them, as that relationship begins, is we provide some form of financial aid for every single admitted student. The scholarship that I tell you the day I call you on the phone - and, by the way, I call every student - is a scholarship you'll have for all three years. There's opportunity for additional scholarships, and our cost of living here is low. That means that you can take the job you want when you graduate, as opposed to the job you have to take to pay your bills.
I make students meet with me because I want to know what you're interested in. I want to make sure that whatever opportunities we have, we can make it fit to your process. And I don't want you to do it alone. I don't want you to feel like you have to go out there and find an opportunity. If you do find an opportunity, I'm happy to work with you and make that happen. But if you don't have any idea, then come and talk to me, and we'll sit through and we'll talk through the process. The great thing about ONU is that, I can tell you, we can place students 100% of the time. We can give you an opportunity in an externship or a clinical experience, but if you're looking for hands on experience, we can guarantee you that.
ONU Law is a great investment. I was given a good scholarship to come here, and now my network is so much wider. The range of abilities that I have is so much wider. I've gotten a fantastic education so far. I've gotten a great network so far. I've gotten access to community members that are in the same areas that I want to practice.
